New Developments in Mijas 2026: Six Projects, Side by Side

Mijas has quietly become the busiest new-build market between Marbella and Málaga. It is big enough to hold very different lives: a whitewashed village on the mountain, two golf valleys, and a coastline running from Fuengirola to Cabo Pino. Prices are still well below Marbella, and the airport is 20 to 35 minutes away from almost everywhere.

We have six new developments on sale in Mijas right now. They go from a one-bedroom apartment on Mijas Golf at 248,000 € to four-bedroom townhouses in La Cala at over one million. Here they are side by side, with the figures taken from each developer’s current price list.

La Cala de Mijas: the golf valley and the new Ensanche

La Cala is a village that works all year, with a beach promenade, shops and restaurants that stay open in winter. Behind it runs the golf valley, and above it the new Ensanche de La Cala is being built out. Three of our six projects are here.

Navigolf Suites is the only finished development on this list. Its 50 apartments on Calanova Golf were completed in Q2 2025, so you can walk through the homes before you buy. Five remain, with one-and-a-half and two bedrooms, from 680,000 €. It suits buyers who want no construction risk and no waiting.

Navigolf Suites II is the second phase next door: 32 apartments in stepped blocks facing the fairways and the sea. The building licence is granted and work started in Q4 2025, with completion estimated for Q4 2027. Eleven homes are left, with one-bedroom homes from 430,000 € and two-bedroom homes from 520,000 €. It is the same location as phase one, for about 250,000 € less.

Cala Serena Sun is for families. Its 68 south-facing townhouses have three or four bedrooms, from 137 m² to 201 m² built, less than 2 km from the beach. The complex has a spa with a heated indoor pool, a gym and concierge access. Twenty-six are available from 676,000 €, with delivery in Q4 2028. There is a show home you can visit in La Cala.

Mijas Costa: El Chaparral and the hillside towards Fuengirola

Sunrise is already under construction, with deeds expected in 2027. It has 46 homes on the El Chaparral hillside, many with sea views, and Chaparral Golf a couple of minutes from the gate. Cabo Pino is under five minutes away and Fuengirola under ten. Seventeen homes remain, with two or three bedrooms, from 421,600 €.

Greenity is the largest project here: 195 homes on a green hillside between La Cala and Fuengirola. It offers the most amenities: saltwater pools, a lap pool, beach padel and pickleball, a putting green, a gym, co-working and a trekking trail. Twenty-two homes from the first phase are available from 389,000 €, with delivery in Q3 2029.

Mijas Golf: the entry point

Helvet Green sits between the two Robert Trent Jones courses, Los Olivos and Los Lagos, five minutes from the beaches of Fuengirola. It is the cheapest way into new-build Mijas: one-bedroom apartments from 248,000 €. It also goes to the top of the market, with a 370 m² penthouse and 230 m² solarium at 1,000,000 €. Forty-nine of its 115 homes are available, with delivery in Q1 2029.
For what it is like to live in each part of the municipality, see our Mijas area guide. If you are also looking a little further east, compare these with the new developments in Fuengirola.

How the payment plans compare

Development Reservation On contract Before completion On deeds
Helvet Green 6,000 € 20% 10% six months and 10% one year after the licence 60%
Greenity 6,600 € 30% — 70%
Sunrise 6,600 € 30% — 70%
Cala Serena Sun 13,200 € 30% — 70%
Navigolf Suites II 6,000 € 40% — 60%
