Inside Cristiano Ronaldo’s fresh $1.3 m Marbella villa with an Infinity Pool and a Cinema Theater
Cristiano Ronaldo bought a $1.3 million holiday villa in Marbella — a few doors from UFC star Conor McGregor — on an exclusive development called The Heights, set on the La Resina golf and country club estate.
The Purchase
At the time of the purchase the Portuguese football legend was playing for Juventus. He acquired a luxury four-bedroom pad in Marbella, adding to a vast property empire. Ronaldo, then 34 and reported to be worth around €412 million after signing an estimated €904 million lifetime deal with Nike in 2016, is well known for his extravagant spending.
The soccer hero is not a direct neighbour of the Irish-born fighter, but is only a few doors away on the same small, exclusive development.
Inside The Heights, La Resina
The villas, which boast views of the Mediterranean, are set beside a golf course. The exclusive development is called ‘The Heights’ and it sits on the La Resina golf and country club estate in Marbella.
Why This Corner of the Coast?
La Resina sits on the stretch between Marbella and Estepona known as the New Golden Mile — golf-front plots, sea views and larger land parcels than central Marbella, at prices that still undercut the Golden Mile itself. It is one of the reasons the area keeps attracting buyers who could afford to be anywhere on the coast.
