The five-star La Zambra hotel, the former Byblos finally opened its doors after decades of being closed. This new Mijas hotel project has 197 rooms and aims to stand out as one of the most luxury accommodation on the Costa del Sol.

The complex has been renewed for its stunning views of the Sierra de Mijas and the two 18-hole Mijas Golf courses, originally designed by Robert Trent Jones.
“According to the Malagahoy newspaper” the project is the “fruit” of “effective public-private collaboration” to promote the hotel project in the town, recalling that it has had an investment of “57 million euros“, of which “20 million” correspond to “the collaboration of the Junta with European funds” and “37 million in private investment”.
While retaining its characteristic blue and white façade, La Zambra has been completely renovated, with warm materials and soft tones reflecting its Andalusian essence, where the boundaries between relaxation and fun are blurred.
Furthermore, from the hotel, it is possible to directly access Los Olivos and Los Lagos, the two world-class golf courses located next to the complex.
