Esencia is a new residential development of 52 homes with 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms in Las Lagunas de Mijas, just behind El Corte Inglés and with direct access to the A-7. The building licence has been granted and the project is sold off-plan. 24 homes are still available, with prices from 275.000 € + VAT, and every home comes with a parking space and a storage room included in the price.

Homes designed around light and views

The homes are laid out over three buildings on Calle San Juan, Calle Santa Lidia and the adjoining plot, with a clean Mediterranean architecture of white facades and terraces. Two-bedroom apartments range from about 68 to 79 m² of interior space, three-bedroom homes from 87 to 94 m², and every home has its own terrace. On the top floor, the solarium penthouses add a private roof terrace: the one still available has over 100 m² of solarium on top of its 32 m² terrace.

The development has energy rating A. Specifications include ducted hot and cold air conditioning, an individual aerothermal system for hot water, windows with thermal break, fitted kitchens with upper and lower units, built-in wardrobes, porcelain stoneware floors on terraces and in wet areas, a reinforced entrance door, video entry phone and pre-installation for electric car charging in the garage.

Esencia sits in Las Lagunas, the main residential area of Mijas, where everything is within walking distance or a few minutes by car. According to the developer, parks are 3 minutes away, schools, supermarkets and the A-7 around 5 minutes, the health centre 7 minutes, and the town hall and the municipal sports complex 8 minutes. Fuengirola beach is about 3 km away and Málaga airport 21 minutes by car, with Marbella, Benalmádena and Puerto Banús all easy to reach along the coast.
