Cala Swing Mijas is a gated residential complex of 155 homes built directly on the edge of the Calanova Golf course, in La Cala de Mijas on the Mijas Costa. The scheme is laid out as five blocks of five levels – ground floor with private garden, three intermediate floors and penthouses – stepped down the slope so that the terraces look over the fairways and, from the upper floors, towards the Mediterranean. Homes come with one, two or three bedrooms and every one of them includes a parking space and a storage room. Work started in December 2025 and the development is under construction; five homes are currently available, from 319.000 €.

Homes designed around light and views

Built areas among the available homes run from 53 m² to 98 m², with covered terraces that reach 128 m² on the penthouse. Ground-floor homes open onto their own private garden, and the top-floor homes trade interior space for very large outdoor space. Structure and foundations are reinforced concrete, and the façade is built as a double skin with an air cavity and double insulation, rendered and finished in white outside and dry-lined with mineral wool and plasterboard inside, which keeps the homes quiet as well as warm.

Climate control is a ducted direct-expansion air conditioning system with supply and return grilles in every room, and domestic hot water is produced by an individual aerothermal unit per home. Kitchens are fitted and open to the living room, bathrooms are fully equipped, and every block has a lift serving all floors including the basement. The development carries the JADE sustainability certification and the QUARTZ health certificate.

Location and connections

The complex sits frontline to Calanova Golf, between La Cala de Mijas and Fuengirola. The Costa del Sol has more than fifty courses within reach, and the beaches of La Cala are a short drive down the hill. By road the A-7 and the AP-7 are immediately accessible: Fuengirola is about 15 minutes away and Marbella about 20, Benalmádena marina about 30, and Málaga airport around 30 minutes. The María Zambrano train station in Málaga is roughly 35 minutes.

Construction and delivery

Building work began in December 2025 and the developer reports the site at roughly a quarter complete. The five blocks are being built together, each rising over a ground floor with gardens, three intermediate floors and a penthouse level, above a basement holding the 229 parking spaces and 155 storage rooms. The handover date has not been published yet.
